I guess i mean based on the performances you've seen what are the best tracks you've heard.

Oh!
Dig Me out
RollerCoaster
Combat Rock
Lets Call it Love(still think it's about two minutes too long, but live makes sense)
One More Hour

Here's a bunch of my favorite songs to hear live, and why:

Call The Doctor - my all time favorite.

Stay Where You Are - love the part where Janet and Corin are harmonizing while Carrie sings the "she's dead if you want / it's me if you want" part. There's a fantastic version of this on the Great American Music Hall in San Fran bootleg from the end of the AHOTBO tour that someone here shared awhile back.

Turn It On - handclaps! enough said

End of You - the breakdown and buildup near the end, very tense. In this same vein, also Far Away, it has that same sort of buildup in the last part of the song.

Light Rail Coyote - when Corin starts wordlessly wailing when Carrie is doing the "and if you wanna be a friend of mine" part

Step Aside - they just always seem to have a lot of fun performing this song

Let's Call It Love - I sort of view this as two parts...I enjoy the jam part, but in a different way...the first few minutes before they go off are amazing live...from the little shriek of feedback that starts it off to when Corin is letting loose with "let's call it love!" while Carrie is singing and the drums are pounding. This song at the June Riviera show in Chicago was so friggin' intense, definitely the high point of the many times I've seen them through the years.

Jeez, after thinking about this for the last few minutes, now I'm even *more* jealous of the Portland people who get to see them tonight!

When they played Far Away at Arthurfest, I got the chills. Jumpers is incredible live as well.

Entertain rules live. It's all about Carrie's hand gestures on the verses. Speaking of, Corin doing the beckoning thing at the beginning of What's Mine Is Yours is great as well.

And I think it's been mentioned in another thread, but 02 is one of those pretty good album tracks that becomes amazing live.

How about tracks that don't translate that well to the live format? My vote goes to One Beat - just never liked it that much live, but I love it on the album.

One last thing - how is Get Up live? I've seen them four times but they've never performed it, I was wondering how all the spoken word stuff comes across.

Far Away was superb in Manchester (wasn't expecting them to play it)
they dedicated it to the New Orleans disaster, and it rocked.

Jumper is also great live, I love Corins groovy dance in the mid section.

I diden't think one beat sounded so great when i heard it at KOKO in September. A lot of the tracks from the Woods really impressed me live. So Raw! and it's almost like some of them were meant to be played live.

"Get Up" is awesome live.

My favorites are "The Fox", "Everything", "Call the Doctor", "Turn It On", "Jumpers", and "Let's Call It Love" (it floored me last night).
