Carrie at SXSW

Carrie B has been confirmed to appear at South by Southwest in Austin, TX, next month (March 12-16) in conjuncture with NPR Music. Carrie’s set to participate in a SXSW Music Festival panel discussion, “The Blog Factor,” on Friday, March 14.
Music blogs have emerged as tastemakers by incorporating unfiltered opinion, audio/video playback, and immediate publishing. As their initial impact expands into the realm of record labels and event promoters/sponsors, can they retain the personality and quirks that first distinguished them?
