Carrie to star in feature film

Today Pitchfork have dropped word that Carrie is set to star alongside The Shins’ James Mercer in Matt McCormick’s debut feature film Some Days Are Better Than Others.
“Overall, I’d say that the film is about lonely people trying to create their own abstract forms of communication. You could call it a charmingly melancholy look at abandonment,” McCormick says of the feature. The film is currently in post-production and is scheduled for a fall 2009 release.
Matt previously worked with Carrie in the 2008 short film Light Tiger Eye also featuring Mercer, and of course directed the video for SK’s Jumpers.
