First off, thank you all for the overwhelming response regarding the Live Vault. We appreciate it and we’re glad our efforts were not in vain.
A little late on this, but Carrie is featured in the current Spring issue of Venus Zine in a small piece as one of the best female guitarists of all time. Scans from the issue have been added to the gallery.
And as previously mentioned, captures from the latest ThunderAnt video, Katchenza has also been added to the gallery archive.

Awww jeah. After what seems like a lifetime, we’re pleased and excited to launch a special new feature here at S-K.net, The Live Vault.
The brainchild of our forum’s very own madTIGERman, the Live Vault’s sheer purpose was to compile every Sleater-Kinney song performed live to have available for download. 176 high quality recordings later, I’m sure you’ll agree it’s a mission well accomplished.
For optimized viewing, please ensure you have the latest version of Adobe Flash installed and view through a resolution of 1024+ in Firefox or Safari.
For any questions or comments regarding the The Live Vault, please head on over to its very own thread at the forum. And as always, feedback is always appreciated!
ThunderAnt have a new video titled Katchenza featuring Carrie and Fred as obnoxious restaurant owners answering online comments and complaints. Hilarity ensues.
As per usual, you can find the video at ThunderAnt.com.
Captures from the clip will be added to the gallery shortly. And a heads-up regarding this site; be sure to check back within a few days for some epic updates.
The gallery is back online ready for viewing and new registrations. Much love to Mycah for her assistance. <3
Do let me know if you come across any kinks, and thank you all for alerting/bearing with me!
The gallery is and will be offline until further notice due to filthy molesting hackers having infected it with a virus.
I’ll get this sorted when time permits. Until then, I apologise for any inconvenience caused by the downtime.
Janet sat down for a brief Q&A with Indy.com to promote Real Emotional Trash, her first record as a Jick and post SK release. She had this to say when asked about the possibility of a SK reunion:
No talk. Corin (Tucker, Sleater-Kinney singer and guitarist) just had another child, and that’s not conducive to touring. The idea of breaking up the band wasn’t that we would get back together in a few years. We wanted to put it to rest for a long while, quite possibly for good. Right now, I’m just thinking about getting out on tour with the Jicks.
All hopes dashed right there friends. You can find the full interview with Janet here.
